Affordable Senior Health Insurance with Presidential Candidates |

Affordable senior health insurance at this point is only easy to find for those lucky elders who do not have debilitating diseases that call for daily medication. There is low cost senior health insurance out there but like all health insurance, when big bills come knocking the out of the pocket expense becomes much higher. I wanted to take a look at presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain’s healthcare plans, which may help you decide on who to vote for.
Obama: Obama wants a universal healthcare system where affordable senior health insurance would be available. He thinks this reform is possible through more private and public health insurance companies. Competition drives prices down. A rough estimate of how much it would cost the country is between 50 to 70 billion dollars a year. McCain: McCain is more concerned with making the current healthcare system better. He would like to see more affordable senior health insurance providers but thinks that a lot of it comes down to personal responsibility. Being a senior himself, he wants more available health information, tort reform and technology upgrades to drop costs.
